Basic Itinerary: Kolkata – Dibrugarh – Roing – Pasighat – Along – Daporizo – Ziro – Tezpur – Bomdila –
Tawang – Dirang – Kaziranga – Kolkata 
 
 
Day 01 :                       Arrive KOLKATA                                                                  INT’L FLIGHT
Arrive Delhi & Meet with our Airport Representative. Thereafter transfer in Private Car to your preferred hotel. Overnight at hotel.
 
Day 02 :                       KOLKATA                                 
After breakfast meet with our (Ministry of Tourism Approved) Guide & start the Tram Tour -3 Hrs ride covering the whole Northern part (old part) of Kolkata. The Route is Jorasanko, Chitpur, Shyambazar, Hatibagan, College Street, Medical College, Wellington Square, Lenin Sarani and Esplanade Tram Depot. This route also covers many heritage and historical buildings. The SPL TRAM tour starts from Esplanade terminus and ends at the same spot. Therafter visit the holy site of Kalighat Temple, exists since the mythological era as one of the fingers of Sati’s feet had fallen there, Victoria Memorial a 100% Marble building created by the British in India between 1905-1921 to house personal memorabilia of Queen Victoria. Continue your tour visiting Jain Temples made from lime & sugar mixture and extensively decorated followed by the visit of with clay modeler’s village where people make the Idols of Gods and Goddesses. Return back to hotel & free for the day. Overnight.
 
Day 03:                    KOLKATA – DIBRUGARH                                           flight AM hrs
After breakfast transfer to the airport to board your flight for Dibrugarh. Upon arrival assistance and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the time at leisure to explore the small but Cosy town of Dibrugarh. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04:                      DIBRUGARH – ROING                                        180 Kms / 06 ½ Hrs
After breakfast we drive to ROING, the district headquarter of lower Dibang Valley District. It lies on the bank of the river Dibang as well as mighty Brahmaputra. Upon arrival free for the day. Overnight in TENTS.

Day 05:                        ROING – PASIGHAT                                            60 Kms / 04 Hrs
After breakfast leave by drive to Pasighat via Dambuk. Enroute cross river Siang and Dibang. Afternoon upon arrival at Pasighat relax for a while & post Lunch sight seeing tour including Museum, Crafts Emporium and local market. Return back & Overnight in TENTS

Day 06:                        PASIGHAT – ALONG                                           100 Kms / 04 Hrs
After breakfast leave by surface for Aong the headquarter of West Siang, district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 300m is inhabited by Adi (Gallong) tribes. Adi has different sub tribe, which differ from each other's like Adi (Gallong, Minyong, Pasi, Padam, Bori, and Bokar). Interesting visit would be the hanging bridge on the Siang river local made of cane and bamboo around 70 meters long connecting to the others hill tribes. We will take the hike at any village enroute for the first hand experience. Reac Along & Overnight in TENTS.

Day 07:                          ALONG - DAPORIZO (600m)                              160 Kms / 07 Hrs
After breakfast leave for Daporijo on the way we visit several Gallong villages. Daporijo is the headquarter of the Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 600m is inhabitd by Tagin tribe, the interesting fact is their resemblence to Sino Mongolic facial structure. Interesting town to walk around and hike to some interesting villages nearby. Return back & Overnight at TENTS.

Day 08:                             DAPORIZO      
Full day free to explore the local picturesque Surroundings. Overnight TENT
(If the travel is in February then experience the Bori Boot festival performed by the Hill-Miris. The festival usually falls in February. Bori Boot means to get together irrespective of age, sex, caste to hail the spring and successful harvest. The festival also invokes the spirit of Bori Boot to bless them with prosperity and free from diseases of any kind. The festival is performed collectively. The young members do all the work under the elders guidance. The Nibu (priest) performs Puja as well as conduct sacrifice. 'Etting' is co piously applied on one and all. The festival is of three days duration)

Day 09:                        DAPORIZO - ZIRO (1560m)                                 160 Kms / 06 Hrs
After breakfast leavfor ZIRO, Enroute you can have visit of Hillmiri tribal villages at Raga (Nishi, Hillmiri and Tagin tribe are more or less similar in their culture customs, tradition, and also slight similarity in their dialogue).  Arrive Zero & Overnight in TENTS

Day 10:                             ZIRO
Ziro is the headquarter of Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh and is a plateau surrounded by Apatani tribal villages, Dibbo- Hija-Bulla-Hari and Hong village. Hong village are to be counted as second biggest and most organised tribal villages in Asia. The uniqueness of Apatani tribe is tooting in women face and its nose plug, which you will find different from the other tribe. Fish cum paddy culture is another interesting possibility if you visit in the month of August -October. You can have visit Tarin Fish farm, museum, emporium and local market.

Day 11:                             ZIRO - TEZPUR (550m)                             350 Kms / 08 Hrs
After breakfast leave for surface to TEZPUR in Assam state. Arrive Tezpur late Evening & Overnight. In TENT
Day 12:                     TEZPUR – BOMDILA (2430m)                                164 Kms / 06 Hrs
After breakfast leave for Bomdila by crossing the check point at Bhalukpong to enter Arunachal. Continue drive to reach Bomdila. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. later visit the monastery in Bomdila belonging to Rev. Tsona Gontse Rinpoche and (if possible) also have an audience with Him Continue to visit the Orchid house at Tipi & witness the different collection of Orchids family. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 13:                        BOMDILA - TAWANG (3400m)                              190 Kms / 07 Hrs
After breakfast depart for Tawang through the Sela Pass at 4249m in the Himalayas. Enroute you would comeacross heavy army camps starting from Dirang till Tawang. We also come across the JASWANT GHAR (14 KM FROM SELA PASS) This is the war memorial  raised to pay homage to Mr. Jaswant Sign who fought to death but did not step back from the enemy in 1962 Sino-India war (It is said that he still roams the are & protects the borders) Overnight in TENTS / Hotel

Day 14:                        TAWANG
Tawang is the land of Monpa tribes and the major centre of Mahayana Buddhism. After breakfast full day excursion of Tawang Monastery. The 400 year old Monastery, is considered to be the oldest and the second largest Monastery in Asia after Lhasa in Tibet. The Monastery is standing on the spur of a hill over 12,000 ft above sea level. Overlooking the wide valley and surrounded on all sides by towering mountains. After visiting the Monastery we will have lunch then visit Shernup village a Monpa village   this gives an insight into the lifestyle of the Monpa people, their culture and traditions. Also visit the birth place of the 6th Dalai Lama located near Tawang. Overnight at the hotel / TENT

Day 15:                        TAWANG – DIRANG                                        140 Kms / 06 Hrs
After breakfast return back to Dirang. We visit the Mokpa villages and the hot spring, the monastery and explore the beautiful valley. Overnight in TENTS 

Day 16:                        DIRANG – KAZIRANGA                                       240 Kms / 06 Hrs
Drive to Kaziranga National Park. Overnight in hotel.

Day 17:                        KAZIRANG NATIONAL PARIK
Early morning game viewing at the park with an elephant safari. Return back to the hotel for break fast and continue the jeep safari inside the park. Specialty is the one horned Rhino. Other attractions are Wild Elephants, Wild Boar, Deers and Tiger. rest of the time at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

 
Day 18:                        KAZIRANGA - GAUHATI - KOLKATA                    260 Kms / 06 Hrs
After breakfast depart for Gauhati. Upon arrival take the connecting flight to Kolkata. Assistance upon arrival and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 19:                        KOLKATA - ONWARD DESTINATION
Transfer to the airport for the flight to the onward journey.
