Basic Itinerary: Mumbai / Ahmedabad – Dasada – Jamnagar – Gondal - 
Sasan Gir – Bhavnagar – Mumbai   
Day 01:                         ARRIVE MUMBAI                                             International Flight
Welcome to India !!!
Arrive Mumbai international airport & meet with our correspondent at Hotel and transfer to hotel. The Rooms have been blocked from 1200 Noon hrs for Immediate Occupancy. Overnight.     
Day 02:                         MUMBAI
After leisurely breakfast followed by the visit of Elephanta Island. The Thousand year old caves are 10 Kms from Mumbai on an island in the middle of the harbor. There are four Rock carved temples on the island, constructed between 450 and 750 AD. The main Siva Temple is carved out of the western hill , about 75m{250 ft} above sea level. There are detailed carved wall panels depicting Shiva’s pastime. It will take approximately 30 Minutes to reach Elephant Island from Gateway of India by a ferry. After visit return to mainland & visit the Mumbai City, visiting the Crawford Market, Dhobi Ghat, Gateway of India, Marine Drive & Chowpatty Beach, Flora Fountain & Horniman Circle, Evening return back to hotel & Relax for the day. Overnight.
Day 03:                         MUMBAI / AHMEDBAD                                          Flight (AM Hrs) 
Leisurely breakfast & departure transfer to airport for the flight to Ahmedabad. Arrive Ahmedabad & transfer to hotel. Later meet with your guide for the sightseeing of Ahmedabad including a trip around the Walled City of Ahmedabad will provide the visitor with valuable information of the city’s glorious past. The simplicity of the city is complemented by the charm of the various museums, mosques, and forts spread across the city. The array of artifacts, antiques, and the exotic and colorful attire available for sale in the city is often tempting. Overnight
Day 04:                         AHMEDABAD – DASADA                                     90 Kms / 02 Hrs 
After breakfast travel to Dasada, two hours away, to arrive in time for lunch at Rann Riders. The road to Dasada is interesting as you pass cattle graveyards where white-rumped, Egyptian and griffon vultures could be seen and wetlands that are good for resident birds. Enroute alos visit the Modehra Temple & Patan archiological site.
Day 05:                         Little Rann of Kachch 
Morning drive to the bets, elevated patches in the Rann covered with scrub and grass. In winter, this is a likely area for Macqueen's bustard. Long-legged, common and white-eyed buzzard, booted eagle, Bonneli's eagle. short-toed snake eagle, are often seen during the drive. Evening visit to Nawa Talao, a lake where demmossile and common cranes gather in large flocks. Greater and lesser flamingo are seen in large numbers as are great white pelican with spotbilled and dalmatian recorded. Painted, openbill, wooly-necked, white, black and black-necked stork could be seen among the many visitors to the lake. Return back & overnight.

Day 06:                         DASADA – JAMNAGAR                                      270 Kms / 06 Hrs
Morning walk in Dasada village. This can yield a reasonably good bird list including yellow-legged green pigeon, paradise flycatcher, fantails, red-breasted flycatcher, white-eye, prinias and warblers. After breakfast, depart for Jamnagar . This is an interesting route passing agricultural fields and lakes. Birds of open-country like roller and black-shouldered kite could be seen. Arrive at Jamnagar Post lunch. On this day, we will also try to get permits to enter the Marine National Park the next day. Evening visit to Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary, where there are fairly good chances of seeing Indian skimmer. This sanctuary is a breeding area for many species of birds that do not nest elsewhere in peninsular India. Great-crested grebe, black-necked stork, Caspian tern and many other birds can be seen besides most of the species recorded in the Little Rann area. Overnight at Hotel

Day 07:                         JAMNAGAR
Visit coastal areas along the Gulf of Kutch, one of the finest birding stretches along the Indian coastline. You are likely to see crab-plover, Kentish plover, oystercatcher, ruddy turnstone, broad-billed sandpiper, sanderling, dunlin, curlew sandpiper, black-headed gull, Pallas' gull, temmincks stint, lesser-crested tern, gull-billed tern, common tern, little tern, black-bellied tern, whiskered tern, whiskered tern, darters, western reef egret and other birds could be seen on this route. Time permitting, walk to Lakhota Lake to watch brown-headed gulls and a variety of ducks. Overnight at Hotel. 
Day 08:                         JAMNAGAR – Porbandar - GONDAL                                    
Depart at dawn with a packed lunch for Porbandar. This coastal city is good for watching and photographing birds at close range. Besides large flamingo and crane flocks, this area also receives yellow-legged gull, henglin's gull, sandwich tern, black-bellied tern, etc. Travel to Gondal and check-in at the Hotel. Free for the day & Overnight.
Day 09:                         GONDAL - GIR NATIONAL PARK                           130 Kms / 04 Hrs
Breakfast at the hotel & drive to Sasan Gir enroute visiting Junagarh - the capital of the Junagadh State under the Muslim rulers of Babi Nawabs. In Gujarati, `Junagadh' literally means an ancient fort. The junagadh town is located at the foothills the sacred hill of Girnar and occupies a special place in the history of GujaratLater drive to Sasangir, on arrival check in at Swiss Tents at Gir. GIR - Gir Forest is today the only place in the world outside Africa, where the lion can be seen in his natural habitat. The forest also harbours a variety of smaller animals and birds. Other predators are the Panther and the Hyena. The Indian Deer, Sambar, Chital (spotted deer), Nilgai (blue bull), Chinkara and the Chowsingha (four horned antelope) are found here, alongwith the bear and the long tailed langur. Overnight at Swiss Tents, Lion Safari Camp . Overnight

Day 10:                        GIR NATIONAL PARK 
Am ( 0600 – 0800 Hrs) Game Drive to Sasangir Pm ( 1500 – 1700 Hrs) Game Drive to Sasangir
A tapestry of dry deciduous forests, acacia scrub and grassland, fed by rivers and reservoirs, Gir is the last abode of the Asiatic lion and has a thriving population of panther (leopard), sambar, chital (spotted deer), nilgai (blue bull antelope) and wild boar. Gir is also one of the major habitats of chousingha (the world's only four-horned antelope) and chinkara (Indian gazelle) that are hard to spot in the teak forests along the game drive trails. Among the many birds of Gir, changeable hawk eagle, crested serpent eagle, Bonneli's eagle, shaheen peregrene falcon, laggar falcon, shikra, painted sandgrouse, quails, black-hooded and golden oriels, marshall's and common iora, Asian paradise flycatcher, tickell's blue, red-throated, verditer and Asian brown flycatchers, yellow-crowned, brown-capped pygmy, black-rumped flameback woodpeckers, green and blue-cheeked bee-eaters, coppersmith barbet, common, lesser pied and white-throated kingfisher, blossom-headed parakeet, hoopoe, black, ashy and white-bellied drongos, rufous treepie, large cuckoo shrike, small minivet, red-vented and white-eared bulbul, tawny-bellied, yellow-eyed, jungle and large grey babblers, grey-breasted, ashy, rufous-fronted, plain, jungle and graceful prinias, zitting cisticola, clamorous reed-warbler, booted warbler, greenish warbler, lesser and Hume's warbler, orphean warbler and blyth's reed warbler, are among the many birds that could be seen here. Those interested in herpetology can visit the crocodile breeding farm at Sasan.
Day 11:                       GIR NATIONAL PARK - BHAVNAGAR                          150 Kms / 03 Hrs
Am Safari to Park and return to hotel . After Breakfast Travel to Bhavnagar , Check in at Hotel. Afternoon hours. Visit of Bhavnagar. This city was founded as a port in 1723. It is still an important trading post for cotton goods. Visit the Gandhi Smriti which has a library, a small museum, gallery and memorial to the founder of India. Nearby is Gauri Shanker Lake, a picnic spot and Takhteshwar temple with fine views from the hilltop
Day 12:                        BHAVNAGAR Exc. Palitana                                  70 Kms / 01 ½ Hrs 
After Breakfast Travel from Bhavnagar to Palitana The Jain temple pinnacle of Shtrunjaya Hill. One of the most important Jain pilgrimages in India, the Palitana Jain Complex is an impressive site with about 863 temples at a single site. Tour the temples and see intricately carved facades, painted interiors and jeweled idols. Spend the evening at the Jain museums and handicraft markets of Palitana town. Doli {Palanquin} can be hire on spot to go on top. Hot Lunch can be organised at Vijay Vilas, a 1906 AD palatial country house. Return to Bhavnagar . Overnight .
Day 13:                        BHAVNAGAR  / MUMBAI                                          Flight AM hrs    
After BreakfastTransfer to Airport to connect your flight for Mumbai. Upon arrival Transfer to Hotel close to Airport for Rest Till evening Departure Transfer to Your Flight for onward Destination / Back home.
